PRINCE2 Foundation
The PRINCE2 Foundation certification will teach you the PRINCE2 concepts and terminology, and once you’ve completed it, you’ll be able to participate as an informed member of a project management team using the PRINCE2 approach in a project setting that embraces PRINCE2.
The PRINCE2 Foundation course may be taken independently or as a prerequisite for the PRINCE2 Professional course. As outlined on a prince 2 course qualification London.
PRINCE2 Practitioner
The PRINCE2 Practitioner certification will teach you how to use PRINCE2 to plan and run projects in an environment that supports PRINCE2. You will be able to apply and tune PRINCE2 to meet the needs and problems of a particular project scenario once you have completed the course.
You will have a detailed understanding of the relationships between the PRINCE2 concepts, themes, and procedures, as well as the PRINCE2 products.
To take the PRINCE2 Practitioner test, you must show evidence of passing one of the following exams:
- PRINCE2 Foundation
- Project Management Professional (PMP)®
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)®
- IPMA Level A (Certified Projects Director)
- IPMA Level B® (Certified Senior Project Manager)
- IPMA Level C® (Certified Project Manager)
- IPMA Level D® (Certified Project Management Associate)
Only existing certifications would be recognised as a prerequisite.
PRINCE2 Agile™
There are two types of PRINCE2 Agile certification: Foundation and Practitioner. The fundamentals and intent of integrating PRINCE2 with agile methodology are taught in PRINCE2 Agile. This allows for scalability as well as integration of organisational management processes.
Agile Foundation, like PRINCE2 Foundation, is open to those with no previous experience. This course covers the PRINCE2 governance framework as well as a variety of agile principles and techniques.
You should be able to behave as an informed member of an agile project team and understand how PRINCE2 operates with agile principles after you’ve completed the course.
Certified project managers can learn how to integrate PRINCE2’s structure, governance, and control with agile processes, strategies, and approaches in PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner.
Since Agile Practitioner has the same prerequisites as PRINCE2 Practitioner, you must show proof of passing one of the following exams to sit for the exam:
- PRINCE2 Foundation (or higher)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)®
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)®
- IPMA Level A® (Certified Projects Director)
- IPMA Level B® (Certified Senior Project Manager)
- IPMA Level C® (Certified Project Manager)
- IPMA Level D® (Certified Project Management Associate)

You also can undertake the PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner exams online with a remote web proctoring solution, which allows you to take your exams using a webcam, microphone, and a secure internet connection. You should plan your exam ahead of time at a time and date that is convenient for you.
You’ll interact with a proctor who will live-invigilate your exam at the agreed-upon time.
