PUBG Mobile Banned in India – List of all 118 Apps Banned in India

PUBG Mobile is one of the more than 118 Chinese apps that the government has banned, in the midst of fresh uncertainty over Chinese aggression in Ladakh. In a statement, the government said that the change was in India’s interest in sovereignty and independence, protection, and stability.

Reports say that in India there are nearly 33 million active PUBG players. The game has about thirteen million users a day.

The PUBG game has been barred, along with other applications under Section 69A, on the grounds that “it participates in an activity that is detrimental to Indian sovereignty and dignity, India’s defense, State security, and the law on civil safety,” as per the ministry of information technology.

“This decision is a coordinated move to ensure Indian cyberspace stability , security and sovereignty,” he says.

This move would secure Indian smartphone and Internet users’ interests.
